Many interested People attended the Craft Demonstrations at the Museum, October 15th, It was sponsored by the Administration Committee and included twelve demonstrators. These included Rope Making on our Rope Making Machine, Corn Husk Doll Making, Clothes Pin Dolls, Quilting, Rug Making, Basketry, Spinning, woodworking, Rug Weaving, Lace Making, Tatting and Chair Caning.

These demonstrations have become an Annual Event which we hope will continue.

It is hoped that you have noticed the two Urns filled with colorful plants the past summer. Dr. William Edmunds donated the Urns. The likes of which were often seen in the yards of Victorian Homes. The Urns were installed by Dr. Edmunds and LaVerne Howard on one of the hottest days of summer. Kathryn and LaVerne Howard obtained the plants and arranged them in the urns where they added to the Beauty of the yard.

Of note also, were the plants in front of the house which were set out and cared for by Mrs. Paul Woodside.

At the side of the Museum, Mrs. Arthur Howard arranged and tended a Herb Garden which could be noticed as one entered the door to the Archives.
